Ellora DeCarlo has lived and worked as an actor, singer and producer in NYC for over 14 years. President and CEO of Bossy Girl Productions, Wife, Mother, and Int'l Child Advocate are a shortlist of the titles she holds. Whether on stage, in front of the camera or behind the scenes as investor, producer, casting director, and location scout, this “Do it Yourself” and "Everybody Wins" girl is infused by the energy and talent of the good people of New York and inspired by the creative art of storytelling. Her international advocacy of and service to children who live outside the love and stability of a permanent home is one of the many driving forces in her blessed and busy life.

A passion for all things creative and a career in front of and behind the camera that spans over 20 years, Toni D'Antonio has worked as a Producer, Script Supervisor, 1st AD, HMU, Production Coordinator, Casting Director, Location Scout, Script Consultant and an Actor. She has diverse knowledge and immense respect for the collaborative process. Full of a variety of assets, her "get it done" mentality is unstoppable. Working on a gem like Alto has been one of the highlights of her eclectic, successful career.

Mikki del Monico works out of a true passion for the craft of storytelling. His feature script, Indelible, won an Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Award and went on to win their Feature Film Production Grant. His music video for the band, Antigone Rising, premiered on CMT and was recently nominated for an OUTMUSIC Award. In addition to writing and directing, he has also worked as a film editor, book editor, researcher, proofreader, personal trainer, and digital media teaching assistant on a ship that sailed the Atlantic Ocean. Hey, it's a long road to making a movie. He holds an MFA in Film from Columbia University. Alto is his directorial debut.

Annabella Sciorra was born and raised in Brooklyn where she still lives. Her film credits include her break-out role in True Love, for which she received an Independent Spirit Award nomination. Other film credits include Jungle Fever, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, What Dreams May Come, Mr. Wonderful, Cop Land, The Addiction, The Funeral, The Cure, Fine Me Guilty, Romeo Is Bleeding, Mr. Jealousy, Reversal of Fortune, 12 and Holding, and King of the Jungle, Her TV work on The Sopranos earned her an Emmy nomination for her role as Gloria. She has also appeared on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The L Word, Bluebloods, The Good Wife, CSI and Taxi Brooklyn. Her theatre credits include The Motherf**cker With the Hat on Broadway, Those The River Keeps, written and directed by David Rabe, Cries and Shouts by Reinoldo Povod, a Joe Papp production, as well as Roar (The New Group), Shyster (Naked Angels), Under the Blue Sky (Williamstown The Theatre Festival), Spain (MCC), Downtown Race Riot (NYSAF), and is currently performing A Month In The Country at CSC.
Judy Dove has more facets than a diamond. Although she originally trained as a dancer, marriage, family and a burgeoning business soon intervened. Her love of theater and charity took her to NYC, which reaped rewards including many new friends and opportunities. Judy has made onstage appearances in Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys, Broadway Cares’ Easter Bonnet, danced with Cameron Matheson in ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares. Her television appearances include Scrubs and The View. As a producer, Judy has been a part ofSpeed the Plow, Guys & Dolls, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Finian’s Rainbow, Unbroken Circle and five of acclaimed designer, Malan Breton's shows at NYC Fashion week. Judy is thrilled to be making her Executive Producer and feature film debut as Zia Carmella in Alto, but she is most proud of her 50 year marriage to Tim Dove which produced two children and eight grandchildren.
Mary Cooper is thrilled to be making her Executive Producer and on-camera film debut as Zia Rosina in Alto. A passionate patron of the arts, she has been involved in several Broadway productions and was recently a producer for Dee Snyder's Rock n' Roll Christmas in Chicago on Broadway. Retired after founding several Hi-Tech companies, she and her husband John, split their time between Scottsdale, AZ and New York City. Their true passion is their 4 grandchildren, 3 of whom are adopted from Guatemala. Through the Cooper Family Foundation, they strive to make a difference in the lives of children around the world who live without a stable and loving family. John Yonover has supported and invested in more than 30 productions on Broadway, Chicago and London’s West End, including Memphis (Broadway, US Tour, London), Hair, Enron, Addams Family, Come Fly Away, The People in the Picture, Lombardi, Dead Accounts, The Performers, Catch Me If You Can, The Mountaintop, The Motherf**Ker with the Hat, Chinglish, Ghost the Musical, A Time to Kill, First Date-The Musical and the Chicago production of To Master The Art. John appeared as a guest judge on one episode of Donald Trump’s “Apprentice” alongside Daryl Roth and Kristen Chenoweth. He is currently associate producer on the West End production of Memphis the Musical and is the lead producer of Dee Snider’s Rock and Roll Christmas Tale, which just finished a successful run in Chicago. He is a Co-Producer of Living on Love staring Rene Fleming and part of the production team of the World Premiere musical Something Rotten, both of which will be on Broadway this spring. He was an associate producer for the film Fly Away, a finalist at South by Southwest in the feature film category.

Dawid Pypec was born in Rzeszow, Poland. After winning a visa lottery, he and his family moved to New York City. At age 18, Dawid was exposed to the art of filmmaking. He and his classmates ventured out, making a film about the foster care system in New York City called, Secrets Never Told: Stories from the Foster Care System. This film was shown at the Do It Your Damn Self Film Festival in Boston.
Being the first in his family to attend college, Dawid got accepted to Skidmore College. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Management and Business. At Skidmore, he made his first short film about hate crimes, Words of Hate. After graduation, Dawid became involved with NY Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT), offering him the opportunity to meet NYWIFT member Toni D'Antonio. Forging this new relationship, Dawid joined the creative team at Shake The Tree Productions LLC as an Associate Producer. He continues to produce shorts and features both independently and with the Shake The Tree Team. |

Graziano Bruni is a New York based Line Producer/Producer who has worked in Independent Film and TV for the past 8 years. He has had clients such as MTV, TLC, Spike TV, A&E and Discovery, but always enjoys working on great independent projects like “Alto" and is passionate about going on the journey with the filmmaker from script to screen. Drawn to compelling stories, regardless of the genre, he enjoys the process of collaborating with a creative team to define how the story will be told. Two of his films, Woman and 1937 have premiered at the Venice Film Festival, and iMurders & As Good As Dead have received Wide Theatrical Release. Having lived and worked in many parts of the world, Graziano currently freelances for various companies in the New York area, bringing with him an analytical mind and the ability to quickly communicate the needs and desires of the creatives into a plan that translates across the project.

Valentina Caniglia, AIC-IMAGO is one of the top cinematographers in the world. With her defining voice, she is adept at filming each project with a visual style that best translates each story's unique concept into breathtaking moving images, shaping and unraveling the concept with light, composition, and movement. She is known for her work on the film Pomegranates and Myrrh (winner, Golden Dagger for Best Cinematography), which had its US premiere at Sundance and also received the Audience Award at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival, presented by Robert DeNiro. Her other works include Shade of Love (winner, Best Cinematography, Hoboken International Film Festival), Fred Won't Move Out, starring Elliot Gould (nominated, Best Cinematography, AIC-IMAGO), Return to Sender, Lostland, starring Burt Young, and Assolo, critically acclaimed for its astonishing and elegant cinematography. Valentina has served as a D.P. for HBO, Canal Plus, Showtime, RAI, and Voyage TV, Netflix, for whom she filmed underwater in the Caribbean, Italy and Egypt. She has also lensed numerous nationally aired commercials for British Airways, Ford, Nike, Novomatic, United Healthcare, Konami, and GBX Shoes, which received the Telly Award, and has made her mark in music video, where she shot for The Roots, The Stain, Aesop Rock, and Soho, winning an MTV Music Video Award. She has also been featured in the following publications: American Cinematographer, IndieWire, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, The New York Times, Village Voice, InCamera, La Repubblica, Il Levante, Il Mattino, D-Donna, and Elle.

Marilyn D’Amato is a production designer, an art director and music producer, who cut her teeth in the industry as a singer/songwriter signed to Geffen Records and Warner Chappell.
While producing music, Marilyn also lent her creativity and design aesthetic to many high profile events, productions and feature films including The Grammys, HBO’s “The Sopranos,” "The Celebrity Apprentice," 20th Century Fox’s “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” Miramax’s “Duplex,” and Paramount’s “School of Rock.” She served as a composer and music coach on John Turturro’s “Romance and Cigarettes” and HBO’s “The Sopranos.” Marilyn loves Pop Art, pinball, olives, and is thrilled to be part of the Alto “family.” |
Art Design Gary J. Cooper |
Gary Cooper is a professional photographer, graphic artist, computer programmer, marathon runner, and most recently mobile application developer and founder and CEO of StageGauge, an App that enables the public to find and rate Broadway shows. In 2006-7, Gary's "Fall Into Gotham" and "Fall Into Gotham Again" photography exhibitions and subsequent books provided the world with an insider's view of the people and places of New York City in Autumn. In 2009, Gary co-founded the "Guatemala900" campaign to advocate for 900+ children in Guatemala whose adoptions to US Residents had become politically stalled. As a result he received the "Angels In Adoptions" Award from the Congressional Coalition of Adoptions Institute in Washington, DC. Prior to diving into the photography and graphics arts world, Gary received a B.S. in Information and Computer Science from the University of California @ Irvine and then traveled to Silicon Valley, where he worked as a software engineer for Cooper & Chyan Technology, a company that provided cutting-edge software for high-tech electronics companies such as Intel and AMD. When Gary is not holding a camera, working in Photoshop or developing StageGauge, he moonlights as a full-time husband and Dad for his amazing wife Ellora and quintet of amazing children Lorenzo, Leo, Julia, Lola, and Cula (woof!).

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, guitarist Thom Rotella was raised by a musical family and knew by age 8 that a career in music was in his future. Thom has performed or recorded with a variety of well-known jazz and pop artists, including Norah Jones, Stevie Nicks, Phil Spector, Ronnie Spector, Darlene Love, David Foster, Donna Summer, Cher, The Beach Boys, Lionel Richie, Bette Midler, Luciano Pavarotti and last—but hardly least—Frank Sinatra.
He has composed music for TV shows as diverse as the Ellen DeGeneres how, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Sex and the City and China Beach, among others. He has crafted commercial jingles for television and performed for shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and The Tracey Ullman Show, as well as on numerous movie soundtracks, most recently for Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys and with Norah Jones for Ted and the upcoming Ted 2. Mentored by the legendary Tommy Tedesco, Rotella established himself as a top call studio musician, one whose music and heart continues to find imaginative approaches to improvising. Thom enjoys playing live with his group, the 4-tet, specifically because “the interplay between musicians is incredible and always leads to surprises. When you play live, you get to see how that moves people emotionally.” For Rotella, there is no better feeling. |
Costume Design Lucia Lettini |
Lucia Lettini was born in Bari, Italy, where she later attended the Academy of Art, graduating as a Set Designer. She moved to Napoli to work in theatre and to study Architecture at the University of Federico II. While there, she worked for three years at the prestigious San Carlo Theatre, assisting directors like Franco Zeffirelli, Roberto De Simone, Alfred Ricther, Alberto Fassini, Filippo Crivelli and Alberto Puggelli. By working closely with these great old-school directors Lucia gained practical experience and skills in directing, art direction and costume design.
This combination of abilities led to her work as a Tour Manager for Progetto Italia, an opera tour in the U.S. and Italy. She has also worked for RAI (Italian National TV) as a Set Decorator on a Soap Opera and TV Show. It was after work on her first movie, The Count of Montecristo, that Lucia discovered her passion for the film industry. She moved to Rome and found a job at Cinecitta where she worked as a Costume Designer on movies and as an assistant director on commercials. In 1999, Lucia moved to the U.S. and has worked on movies and TV as well as in theatre. She is a proud member of two unions in New York, Local 764 and Local 829. |
Key Hair & Make-Up Fiona Mifsud |
Fiona Mifsud received her Make-Up diploma from Senior College Dun Laoghaire in Dublin and completed the Wigs and Makeup internship at The Juilliard School.
Fiona is now a member of the local 798 Make-Up Union. She is freelance Artist based in NYC, working in TV, Film and Theater and has designed make-up for opera productions as well. She has also worked on various music videos and photo shoots. Fiona recently worked as Department Head and personal Make-Up Artist to Sir Kenneth Branagh for the Park Avenue Armory production of Macbeth, directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh. Fiona also recently worked as the Key Make-Up & FX Artist for AMC's period, Mafia docudrama, "Making of the Mob" due to air this summer. |

NYC-based photographer, graphic designer, songwriter and mouse wrangler Mikiodo (Mike Chiodo) grew up in Buffalo, NY. He went to college for genetics but soon realized that his heart was in the arts. Mostly self-taught and known as that kid with the camera as a youth, he further developed his photo skills after moving to NYC in 1989, as well as focusing on graphic design, video, retouching and songwriting. He has art-directed and designed numerous CD packages and has contributed photos to projects by artists and organizations such as Sheryl Crow, John Tesh, BroadwayCares, and SAY. As a photographer, Mike shoots a wide array of subject matter, including portraits, events, live theater and music, and nature. Currently, he is working on a photo series of his pet mice. Mike and his mice have been featured on Animal Planet, Fox News, MetroTV and various web series and documentaries; in print in Martha Stewart's Kids Magazine, NY Post, and Critters USA; and in New York Historical Society Museum's gallery exhibition, Petropolis, in 2003, alongside William Wegman's dogs. Mike is also Creative Director of Holidelic, an annual funk Christmas show headed by The Meredith Vieira Show and E Street Band's Everett Bradley.
