BEK MARKAS ("The Game Attendant") is a NYC native. The first American in his family, his acting break happened when he and nine other actors were brought in for a go-see to director Phillip Noyce, who was directing "Salt" (2010) at the time. Noyce picked him because his hair best fit with the 1970s, the period in which the film took place. Shortly after, Bek left college, even before declaring a major, sold his books and went off to train with top acting teachers such as Wendy Ward and Michael Howard. Bek has been in many shorts and starred in Mickey Micklos' web series, 200 Contracts, for which he won Best Actor in a Dramatic Series at the 2014 LA WebFest. He grew up playing guitar for various NYC punk/hardcore bands and also plays the bass and drums. His favorite actors are Harvey Keitel, Mickey Rourke and Thomas Jane. @BekMarkas
